Any thoughts on a new teaser from Palm Beach Letter (Teeka Tiwari). Not a lot to go on: a ”tiny” $2 minor in Peru with a ”brand-new” gold discovery that will increase their estimated recoverables by 5 times, and naturally move the stars in the firmament in terms of stock price increase. Wondered if it was Bear Creek, but that is now going for $2.60ish and I haven’t come across any announcements.
Cheers,
Don Maund

Yes, I was intrigued by the offer to reveal for $1500 the name of the two dollar gold stock.
Is there enough information to get a few suggestions from the Thinkolator?
dynacor is the only obvious choice here, the company is the only gold miner in Peru that has around a $2 share price and a market cap of around C$120 million
Dynacor is a good possibility. Though I thought they primarily processed purchases ore with some exploration on the side. Haven’t worked the numbers and wondered if some of the Gumshoe experts had done so. Big question: if the news is about a NEW exploration site, how long will it take to get the Au dug and in the smelter, unless it consists of goose egg nuggets laying around on the surface 🙂
It would take years. If it is a totally new site with no mine it will take a long time. But the discovery could be adjacent to an existing minin site, we just don’t know.
$DNGDF Dynacor…was not familiar with this company until reading the thread. Checking its website, it could be the Teaser solution. Their main business is refining ore, but they have an exploration division that could be the basis for the Teaser excitement.
The stock was languishing around $1.60 until August 8 when it went parabolic and is now $2.50.
Gavin…thanks for the lead on Dynacor.
Dhmaund…I don’t think it is Bear Creek, Bear Creek is has two silver projects and I do not know of any gold exploration on their part.
Guys, I don’t know if you have seen it but I am the moderator of another thread “Gold Bull Investments for the Next Leg Up”.
Here is a link. I would welcome your participation on this thread.

UPDATE 1-Canada’s Ivanhoe Mines gets unsolicited interest, to hire bankers 12:05 PM ET, 08/29/2016 – Reuters
Aug 29 (Reuters) – …Ivanhoe Mines Ltd…said on Monday that companies from Asia, Europe, Africa and elsewhere had expressed interest in the company and its projects in recent months.
The Vancouver-based company’s shares rose as much as 15.6 percent in morning trading…
Ivanhoe Mines said it would hire an investment bank to seek advice on the unsolicited interest and to advise its board on all available alternatives.
The miner… did not name the companies or provide any other details on the expressions of interest.
Ivanhoe Mines said it is giving investors and banking analysts tours of its projects, including of the Kakula discovery – a high-grade copper discovery in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Kakula discovery is part of Ivanhoe’s Kamoa copper project, which is thought to be the world’s largest untouched high-grade copper discovery.
Ivanhoe Mines said in October it expects production at the Kamoa project to begin by the end of 2018.
The company’s other projects include the Platreef palladium-gold-nickel-copper discovery…and the Kipushi project, which is a high-grade zinc-copper-lead-germanium mine in Democratic Republic of Congo.
Ivanhoe has been running a sale process for its interest in Kipushi to fund Platreef and Kamoa, RBC Capital Markets analyst Phillips Fraser said….
